On the extension of the circulation period for checks "Property"

The Government of the Republic of Belarus made a decision to extend the circulation period of registered privatization checks "Property" until 31 December 2022. The corresponding resolution was adopted on 26 November 2020.

It is possible to exchange personalized privatization checks "Property" belonging to citizens for state shares in the subdivisions of JSC "JSSB Belarusbank" performing these operations *. There you can also get acquainted with the list of joint stock companies, the shares of which are offered for purchase in exchange for checks, and information about these companies. it is necessary to present a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus and a certificate of checks "Property" when applying.

Currently, shares of about two hundred open joint-stock companies operating in various spheres of production and rendering of services are offered for exchange for "Property" checks.

When exchanging checks "Property" for shares of open joint-stock companies, citizens of the Republic of Belarus have the right to use checks issued to them personally, as well as received under donation agreements and (or) by inheritance from close relatives (parents, children, spouses, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, grandmothers, grandfathers, mother-in-law, father-in-law, father-in-law and mother-in-law), provided that only checks issued to close relatives are donated (inherited), but in total no more than 250 personalized privatization checks "Property" during the entire period of gratuitous privatization.

Purchasing shares, a citizen becomes a shareholder of the corresponding joint-stock company and, according to the law, is vested with the right to participate in the management of the company, to obtain information about its activities, as well as the right to sell, donate and inherit shares belonging to him.
