The second start of the Twinning project in Belarus «Strengthening the capacity for managing geospatial data and ensuring their interoperability by the National Cadastral Agency» was officially launched Government approved international technical assistance project. The relevant Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus № 760 was adopted on 13 November 2019 and came into force. The decision was made based on the proposals of the Commission on International Technical Cooperation under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.

Belarus presented a report on the topic: “Geospatial Cadastre Data in the Republic of Belarus” at the 12th Ibero-American Congress on Cadastre in Spain The Congress takes place from 12 to 14 November in the city of Granada with the participation of more than 500 delegates from 25 countries of Latin America. The event is organized by the General Directorate of the Cadastre of the Kingdom of Spain.

Belarusian specialists will take part in the discussion of problems of modern land use at the 12th International Conference LANDNET «Territorial development – challenges and opportunities» The conference will be held from 5 to 8 November 2019 in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain).The event is organized by the FAO and the Agency for promoting rural development (AGADER) of the Government of Galicia. The conference will also include a meeting of Commission 8 (on spatial planning and development) FIG (International Federation of Land Surveyors).

State Property Committee of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee (hereafter – Gomel Property Committee) holds auctions for the sale of real estate in the Gomel and Zhlobin districts. The initial price is 1 base units (25.5 BYN). The initial price is reduced on 20% in the city of Mozyr and Vetkovsky district. Also, a land plot is leased for a period of 50 and 55 years without charging a fee for the right to lease in Yelsky and Rechitsa districts. Auctions for the sale of real estate will be held on August 29, September 3 and 10, 2019.
