More than 20 applications were received for participation in the competition of corporate and legal consultants selection, which held by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

At the request of potential participants, the deadline of accepting applications was postponed since 7 June to 11 June 2018.

The holding of the competitions is conditioned by the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of the Republic of Belarus - aiming at strengthening the corporate governance of state-owned enterprises in the Republic of Belarus.

The Memorandum is designed for two years and includes the preparation and implementation of proposals of the best world corporate governance practices adoption in business entities of Belarus, and includes other issues of improving the management of state assets. Expert organizations express great interest for participation in the competition, as the project can become guiding for other countries, not just for the region, but also for the countries of the Far EAST in the case of a successful implementation of the project.

It was announced two competitions of corporate and legal consultants selection by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on 17 May 2018. The implementation of the Memorandum was discussed in Minsk on 5 June 2018 during the visit of representatives of the EBRD led by the Vice-President of the Bank, Alain Pilloux, to the Republic of Belarus.

The EBRD participates in one of the global projects to build a state asset management system in Belarus at the republican level, functioning of this system will be  demonstrated by the example of the State Property Committee organizations, including the Belavtodor Holding. During the meeting in the State Property Committee, the parties confirmed the existing mutual understanding, common approaches based on making informed decisions, aspiration for active and effective cooperation, the main goal of which is to obtain a positive result, which can be extended to other Belarusian enterprises in the future .
